Rosadenia Karamoutsou

I was born in Corfu, where I still live today. I hold dual Greek and French citizenship. I earned a BA in Languages and Translation from the Ionian University and the University of Strasbourg. Among various professional training programmes in the field of education, I completed a Train-the-Trainer programme at the University of Franche-Comté (CLA Besançon), France, on a scholarship awarded by the French Institute of Athens, and obtained an MA in Education in a Multicultural Environment from the University of Tours, France.

I taught French as a Foreign Language for three academic years at the French Institute of Athens and for a further three academic years at the Ionian University. I also founded and co-directed the language school École Apollinaire, which I led for twenty-three years. Alongside my teaching career, I worked as a freelance translator and interpreter. For twelve years, I served as Honorary Consul of France in Corfu, and since 2010 I have continued to serve the French community and visitors as Chef d’Îlot (Security Coordinator). I am also actively involved in the tourism sector as an entrepreneur.

Building on my academic background and extensive professional experience in education, communication and personal development, I pursued specialised training in coaching.

I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), credentialed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a member of both ICF Global and the ICF Greece Charter Chapter. I completed the six-month Certificate in Coaching (AC Accredited) programme at the University of Athens and the nine-month Coaching and Eco-Therapy programme at the University of West Attica. I am currently undertaking the seven-month Health, Wellness, Fitness and Longevity Coaching programme at the University of Athens.

I am also pursuing the Advanced Diploma in Professional Coaching Mastery, an ICF Level 2 programme leading to the PCC credential, and the Diploma in Team Coaching at Positivity Global Coaching, which provides a pathway to the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC). In addition, I am currently attending a three-month Adult Trainer Training programme at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Furthermore, I have completed nine-week online courses, including “The Science of Well-Being” (Yale University), “Lose Weight and Keep It Off” (Harvard Medical School), and “The Path to Happiness: What Chinese Philosophy Teaches Us About the Good Life” (Harvard University). These courses have enriched my understanding of wellbeing, behaviour change, and philosophical perspectives on a fulfilling life, informing my coaching practice.

I currently serve as Membership Committee Lead (2026) at the ICF Greece Charter Chapter and work as a self-employed Personal, Career & Well-being Coach. I support individuals in creating meaningful and sustainable change and pursuing their personal and professional goals.

I believe that every individual possesses the inner resources to grow, adapt and thrive. My role is to create a safe, supportive and thought-provoking environment where clients can develop greater self-awareness, clarify their goals, and move forward with confidence, purpose and authenticity.

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and practising Pilates. I also enjoy downhill skiing, horse riding and hiking whenever the opportunity arises.
